What I'm Wearing; What I Wish I Was Wearing

So I thought this might be a fun idea: I jump on Polyvore, make a set of what I'm wearing today (since I won't be taking pictures of myself for a loooong time), and then have a set of what I WISH I was wearing today... it'd be fun for me, at least!

Leave a comment if you think this would be interesting. Unfortunately, my clothes are not designer or even brands that are generally on Polyvore, so I'll be making do with similar pieces.

Right now, I am on Polyvore, attempting today's outfit. So much harder than I expected. Then again, I am not wearing an outfit I like today... do you ever wake up, and think "I don't give a crap if I don't look good today, I just can't be bothered", then grab whatever you want, regardless of whether or not it matches, or suits the other pieces? Well I had one of those mornings. I ended up in business pants, a casual cardigan, and an even more casual tee. Totally regretting being lazy this morning; I feel like Kmart threw up on me.

This is the best I could do:

The cardigan I'm wearing is similar to that one ^ but it's navy and cream/white, and the shoes are a different, lighter brown. It's difficult to tell, but the t-shirt is pale pink. Like I said, not a good outfit.

Now for what I wish I was wearing...

The pants have stayed similar, and the bag hasn't changed much, but the shoes needed a change-up. The Roberto Cavalli pumps are NOT something I'd own. The Barbie pink, and the python pattern: not me. But work is quiet today, and looking out the window, it's all so very grey. These shoes would brighten up my day in an instant!

Thought I'd pair the OTT shoes with a simple blue top. It looks so comfy, I am all about half/three quarter sleeves (so flattering, and classier than tees!), and I'm digging the colour. I need more blue in my life!

Did anyone notice the office change? My desk in reality is a drab grey, office desk, in a plain white-walled and tiled office. I'd kill for the office in the bottom picture.

That was fun, and took up a good chunk of time at work... oops. I don't remember seeing this sort of thing on other blogs that I read, so I thought it could be something different. Let me know what you think! (Not of the outfit I'm actually wearing today... I can't handle that kind of criticism!)
